This was my first of many dandelion like images I captured during the pandemic lockdown. I say dandelion like because this is actually a Western Salsify seed head. When you see them in context they look like giant dandelions.

But this image was taken as I stood next to the approximately 4 foot high plant right around July 4th (which I thought was very appropriate).
